Meet the SBDC Staff:

Nick Strong, Andrew Henning & Liz Allen

Elizabeth (Liz) Allen began working at Illinois SBDC at ISU August 2007. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Purdue University and is currently completing a Master of Science degree specializing in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Her industry experience includes developing web-based training and employee resources, market research, business plan development, financial analysis and project management. Her research interests include occupational stress, employee motivation and cross-cultural employee differences. Liz is currently conducting research on occupational stress experienced by small business owners.

Andrew Hennig began working at the Illinois SBDC at ISU in May 2008. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, with a minor in International Business and is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration, specializing in Management. He has studied abroad in England and Belgium where he had the privilege of meeting and conversing with members of the EU and NATO. Andrew has been in several managerial roles in the past few years including the Illinois State Athletic Department where he supervised a crew of over 50 student workers.

Nicholas J. Strong began working at the Illinois SBDC at ISU in January 2008. Nick is a Masters candidate at Illinois State University in dual-sequence program for Quantitative Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  Nick excels at project management and developing creative solutions to business problems. He has professional experience in internal and external consulting, database management, employee and customer surveys, and workforce development through a former position at Allstate Insurance.
