Director, Elizabeth Binning

Ms. Binning received her undergraduate and master’s degree from Illinois State University. During the eight years she worked at Bradley University, Ms. Binning worked with a number of business outreach centers including the Center for Executive and Professional Development, Center for Testing, Leadership Development Center, Turner Center for Entrepreneurship, as well as the Illinois Small Business Development Center. In September 2006, the Pantagraph named Ms. Binning one of the "20 under 40" most influential community leaders in McLean County. In 2007 she was nominated for both the YWCA Women of Distinction and McLean County Chamber of Commerce Athena Award.

Business Assistant, Kris Ariyabuddhiphongs

Mr. Ariyabuddhiphongs has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and is currently completing a Master of Science degree specializing in Industrial/Organizational and Social Psychology. He has completed an internship with PricewaterhouseCooper (Thailand). His areas of expertise include human resource management, personnel selection, and training and development.

Business Assistant, Brian Bartels

Mr. Bartels has an undergraduate degree in Accounting, with a minor in Spanish, from Eastern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He has completed accounting internships with Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois and Griffin, Georgia, as well as an internship in the Tax Department at Tate & Lyle in Decatur, Illinois. Mr. Bartels has also studied abroad at a university located in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Business Assistant, Adam Bradshaw

Adam Bradshaw received his B.S. in Psychology from Illinois State University and is in the process of earning his M.S. in Industrial/Organizational-Social Psychology, also from Illinois State University. His research interests include understanding personality and affect in order to help organizations maintain a superior staff, person-organization fit, and test construction and validation. Adam’s professional experiences include developing web-based training for first-level management and providing value-added service and feedback through his work on emerging projects. Adam has presented research at university conferences and is a member of the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Business Assistant, Lindsay Pater

Ms. Pater has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and is currently working towards a Master of Science degree specializing in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  She has attended two professional conferences within the Psychology area presenting her undergraduate research on adolescent work experiences addressing issues such as sexual harassment and overall job satisfaction.  Her main interests include understanding more about job satisfaction and person-job-fit in order to help retention and decrease burnout within the workplace. 

Secretary, Joyce Parmenter

Ms. Parmenter has been employed at Illinois State University for over ten years. Many Entrepreneurship majors know her as the secretary for the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies program. Her work with the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Illinois State University includes scheduling client appointments and assisting in the management of the SBDC expenses.
